Bob's Steak and Chop House in Omni Hotel Dallas Texas

Texas knows cattle.  Yesterday, I had the best cheeseburger I have ever had in my life.  Literally.  This evening, we did dinner at Bob’s Steak and Chop House in the Omni Hotel in downtown Dallas, Texas.  Two of us went with a New York Strip and two with the filet mignon and I have to say it was the single, best steak I have ever had in my entire life.

[mainbodyad]At one point, someone at the table joked that the guy who built the golden calf in the book of Exodus must have been Texan.  Given our experience, maybe God was hard on the guy with the whole opening-up-the-Earth-and-swallowing-them thing.  The creamed corn was out-of-this-world awesome, too.

The prices weren’t bad for the quality, either.   I think for the four of us, it was only $280 including tip.  None of us drank any alcohol, though, so I imagine wine would have made it more expensive if you were a fan of the sommelier.  The waiter was excellent; like a silent ninja who we didn’t realize had been to the table until after he was already gone.
